069A Sunday 12th July Ladies Day H'capR. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Jordan Breeze, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped right from the stalls.
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Bye Bye Now, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got upset in the stalls.
W.J. Lee, rider of Snowballs, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
C.T. Keane, rider of An Laochmor, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Jazzit (GB), ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed third, An Laochmor, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, and Bye Bye Now, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed fourth, where it appeared An Laochmor rolled around resulting in Jazzit bumping into Bye Bye Now. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
069B Put The Fun Into Fundraising H'capC.D. Hayes, rider of Sporting Hero (GB), trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls and slowly away.
S. Coen, rider of Clonmacash (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check.
L.T. McAteer, rider of Amemri (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check turning in.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Edmond Halley, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen and lost its action in the straight.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Edmond Halley, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately two furlongs from home involving Clonmacash (GB), ridden by S. Coen, and Amemri (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, where it appeared both riders had to sit for a stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
069E Group Deals Available Apprentice H'capR. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Mehmar, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Peter Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Alto Sax, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul Harrison, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that his charge had been dropped down to a winning mark and that things fell right for him today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
